The Rabbit Hole Tea Room is a family run, unique and cosy tearoom inspired by the classic Lewis Carroll tale “Alice in Wonderland”. A whimsical wonderland experience, complete with our upside down clocks, giant book and life size Dodo awaits our customers!
Make a reservation to enjoy the best Afternoon Tea in Wonderland. Our Afternoon Tea is served on a three tier stand that is filled with tasty treats.
We are unfortunately not always able to accommodate walk-ins but a reservation will guarantee you a table
Our Rabbit Hole Tea Room Afternoon tea experience is a delicious three-course delight served on a tiered stand. It’s a filling meal that is sure to satisfy even the most enthusiastic appetites!
The bottom tier is full of fresh, hearty sandwiches accompanied by a salad garnish, chutney & crisps
The middle tier holds freshly baked warm scones with fruit preserves and clotted cream and our heavenly 3 tier cake
The top tier overflows with delicious and decadent sweets and desserts guaranteed to leave a happy smile.
All prices listed are per person and general bookings are 1 hour & 45 minutes.
Although every care is taken please note that our kitchen environment handles all allergens.
Please inform us before you order if you have a food intolerance or allergy.
We are unable to facilitate any changes to our menu, this enables us to provide a consistent and efficient service within our cosy kitchen.

To confirm the booking for Afternoon Tea a £10 per person card hold authentication is required via an email link which we can forward if you would like to confirm a booking with us.
Please note no money is taken when completing the link and it is not a deposit – full payment is payable per person on the day. The card authentication is in place if the Booking Terms & conditions are not followed.
On occasion we offer special themed tea services. While we will always remain an Alice in Wonderland tea room, our food and desserts will be inspired from other great characters in literature or popular culture. Our prices may differ for the Afternoon Tea depending on the theme.
Gift Vouchers are available to purchase for Afternoon Tea from the Tea Room within our opening hours.
Please note the booking enquiry is not a confirmed booking until our team responds to your request and confirms the booking.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date on the front of the Gift Voucher and will not be extended after this time.
We request the gift voucher is booked in no later than 8 weeks before the expiry date to ensure we can accommodate within the 12 months.
With us being a small business, we can be booked in advance especially at weekends which is advised at time of purchase, we will try offer alternative dates if the date(s) requested are not available.
Gift Vouchers cannot be used for split dates, exchanged for cash or be used for anything other than what is noted on the Gift Voucher.
Afternoon tea gift vouchers can only be redeemed against our standard afternoon tea and cannot be accepted for afternoon tea themed events. Festive afternoon tea will also require a surcharge for the price difference of standard afternoon tea subject to availability.
We reserve the right to not accept any Gift Vouchers that are not booked following the required Booking Conditions.
We are a very cosy Tea Room, please let us know in advance if you plan to visit us with a pushchair or wheelchair to ensure we can accommodate your requirements.
